Wood, a public school employe since 1998, was arrested after his alleged abduction of a 10-year-old girl as she was walking home on Tuesday afternoon. The kidnapping was witnessed and police were given the license plate number, which resulted in authorities finding Wood and discovering the body of Hailey Owens in the basement of his home early Wednesday.
