Bentonville, Ark. — Looking forward to opening in 2015, the Amazeum has appointed a membership director for the new children’s facility under construction here on the grounds of the Crystal Bridges Museum of American Art.
Amy Stockton has been named to the membership post, and the “Be Amazed” campaign selling memberships to the new museum for the Fall is almost under way.
The new facility, projected to open in the second half of 2015, is a participatory experience for children featuring interactive exhibits, including a tinkering studio, an art studio, a climbable tree canopy, a Water Amazements pool, indoor caves and more. The 44,500 sq. ft. Amazeum is expected to take up approximately an acre of land.
Prior to joining the Amazeum, Stockton was with the Endeavor Foundation in Springdale, the Winthrop Rockefeller Institute, and Big Brothers, Big Sisters of North Central. Arkansas.
Charter memberships will be ready this fall for the gift giving season.
