Arkansas State Police 3Henderson, Ark. — A 65-year-old Henderson man was killed here Tuesday when the ’80 Jeep he was driving was hit in the rear and knocked off the road eastbound on U.S. Hwy. 62 East near Henderson in Baxter County.
Arkansas State Police said Norman J. Forshee, 65, of Henderson was thrown out of his Jeep as it overturned multiple times before coming to rest on its top.
The victim was pronounced dead at the scene.
Police said the driver of the second vehicle, a ’15 Ford was not injured in the crash. He was identified as Joe William Smith, 34, of Houston, Tex.
Injured in the crash were Cody L. Hall, 20, of Bonnerdale, Ark., who was in the Jeep, and Theresa Holliday, 22, of Glendale, Tex., who was in the Ford, according to the state police report.

The victim was taken to Roller Funeral Home in Mountain Home, Ark. From there he was taken to Conner-Hankins Funeral Home in Mountain Home, Ark. Conner-Hankins was in charge of arrangements.

A memorial service will be held 4 p.m. Saturday, Jan. 24, at the Seventh Day Adventist Church of Mountain Home, 3744 U.S. Business Highway 62 West, Mountain Home, Ark.
