Strawberry, Ark. — A Cave City Arkansas man was killed near here Saturday, Feb. 14, in a head-on collision on Highway 230 just west of Strawberry in Sharp County.
Arkansas State Police said James Koch, 34, of Cave City was driving west in a 1994 Saturn when he drove into the eastbound lane and collided with a 2011 Chevrolet driven by Caitlin Whitmire of Strawberry.
Whitmire was injured in the crash and was taken to Arkansas Children’s Hospital in Little Rock, Ark.
The accident occurred at 3:20 p m. on Valentine’s Day.
Visitation will be 6-8 p.m. Wednesday at the funeral home, 326 North Main, Cave City.
Funeral will be 10 a.m. Thursday at Maxville Missionary Baptist Church in Cave City with burial to follow at Maxville Cemetery in Cave City.
