Butler County, Mo. — The fire that destroyed the home of Butler County Prosecuting Attorney Kevin Barbour early Saturday morning has been ruled accidental, according to Butler County Fire Protection District Chief Bob Fredwell.
The call came in at 5:38 a.m., and firefighters spent two hours fighting the blaze that totaled the home.
Barbour and his wife and dogs escaped the fire; Chief Barbour said the couple was alerted to the fire by their dogs.
The home was located at 613 County Road 428.
