Strawberry, Ark. — A 39-year-old Strawberry, Ark., man was killed Tuesday on Highway 230 in Sharp County when the truck he was driving crossed over into the northbound lane rolled and he was thrown from the vehicle.
Arkansas State Police said Shannon Rainwater, 39, of Strawberry (Lawrence County), a self-employed truck driver, was driving his Dodge truck west on State Highway 230 near Strawberry when he crossed into the northbound lanes and rolled his truck several times.
The victim was taken to Wortham Funeral Home in Hardy, Ark., according to the police report. From there he was taken to House-Gregg Funeral Home, South West Third and Vine Streets, Walnut Ridge, Ark.
Visitation will be 10:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m. Monday, July 20, at Lynn Church of Christ, 237 S Highway 25.
Graveside Service will be at 1:30 p.m. Monday at Dry Creek Cemetery, east of Hwy. 361, one mile south of Lynn, with Kenny Townsley officiating.
