Jonesboro, Ark. — Mike Farrell brings a one-man show to ASU’s Fowler Center, 8 p.m. Friday, Sept 25. Farrell will appear in “Dr. Keeling’s Curve,” portraying the quirky scientist who developed the way to measure the amount of carbon dioxide in the atmosphere and its effect on global warming.
Besides Keeling, the show will also introduce the scientist whose obsession with heat discovered the greenhouse effect and another scientist who established the link between carbon dioxide and global warming.
Farrell is best remembered for his portrayal of Captain B.J. Hunnicutt on the TV series M* A* S*H.
Tickets are $20 and $30 for adults, $23 and $15 for senior citizens and students, $24 and $16 for A-State faculty and staff, $10 and $6 for ASU students with a current ID. Call and ask about group rates. All seats are reserved.

Twin Lakes Playhouse opens Friday Sept. 11 in Mountain Home, Ark., for a three-week run thru Sept. 27 with “The Dixie Swim Club”
Mountain Home, Ark.—The Twin Lakes Playhouse is bringing back their hit show “The Dixie Swim Club,” opening tomorrow, Sept. 11, at 7 p., m. Friday and Saturday night shows start at 7 p.m. Sunday matinees start at 2 p.m.
“The Dixie Swim Club” is a poignant comedy about a Southern college swim team that meets once a year down through the years and how they stick together and cope with life’s foibles and challenges. The show is directed by Deb Smith.
Tickets are $11 per person adult or student. They can be purchased on line at TwinLakesPlayhouse.org or ordered at (870) 424-0444.

“Teen-age Mutant Ninja Turtles” opens at Imperial Dinner Theater in Pocahontas, Ark., Sept 25 for three-week run thru Oct. 11Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles 2Pocahontas, Ark. — Get ready for an action packed show when the Imperial Dinner Theater’s “Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles” hits the stage running on Friday, Sept. 25, and runs through Oct. 11.
The show stars Ariel Cummings, Ashley Evers, John Cummings and Justin Tribble as the fearless turtles. The show director is Shane Cummings.
Shows are Friday Saturday and Sundays. Friday and Saturday dinner starts and 6:30 with the show at 7:30 p.m. Sundays dinner is at 1 p.m. and show at 2 p.m.
