Mullins, 52, of Gatewood, Mo., is charged with one count of first degree sodomy, one count of first degree rape, sexual contact with a student by a teacher, and sexual contact with a student on school property.
Mullins is accused of assaulting the juvenile student in the school supply closet.
Mullins waived arraignment Oct. 28 and pled not guilty.
Previously put on state mandated paid administrative leave, Mullins resigned Nov. 2 or 3. He had been with the Naylor R-2 School District since 2008 and recently was appointed to be high school assistant principal.

Mullins has been free on $100,000 cash bond since his arrest. He has been represented by attorney Daniel T. Moore of Poplar Bluff, Mo.
His preliminary hearing was originally set for Dec.2, but a continuance has been granted.
