The jury trial on capital murder and kidnapping charges is scheduled to start before Pulaski County Circuit Court Judge Herbert Wright on Jan. 12.
The hearing allowed the prosecution to use the items found in the search of the cab of Lewis’s car and the phone records also recovered.
Also, texts between Arron Lewis, 34, and his estranged wife, Crystal Lowery, 41, will be allowed. Lowery also has been charged with murder and kidnapping. In July she pled guilty to the reduced charge of first degree murder, rather than capital murder, on the condition that she testify against Lewis. The judge has ruled that testimony be allowed.
The motion to use evidence found in the trunk was denied. Other unnamed items were found inadmissible.
Judge Wright announced his rulings at the hearing held this morning.
