Arkansas State Police 3Doniphan, Mo., man killed in wreck on Hwy. 328 in Randolph County, Ark.
Randolph County, Ark — A 63-year-old Doniphan, Mo., man was killed early Sunday in a wreck on U.S. Highway 328 in the county.
Arkansas State Police said Clifford L. Summers was driving his ’15 GMC pickup truck westbound when as he was making a curve to the right, he ran off the road to the south, hit a ditch, rolled his vehicle and was thrown out of the vehicle. Police said the truck came to a stop facing northeast.
Police said the victim was being held at the Randolph County Coroner’s office.

Richardson, Texas, man killed as truck leaves I-40 and ends up in canal
Crittenden County, Ark — A 67-year-old Richardson, Texas, man was killed Sunday when his pickup truck left I-40 and ended up in a canal that runs under the highway, near mile marker 266.
Arkansas State Police said that George W. Hoobler died just after noon Sunday when his westbound vehicle left the road and went into the Median finally coming to rest partially submerged in the canal than runs under I-40
Police said the victim was pronounced at the scene and was taken to Wolfe Brothers Funeral Home, West Memphis, Ark.

Bella Vista woman, 83, killed, passenger injured in rear-end collision
Bella Vista, Ark. — An 83-year-old Bella Vista woman was killed and her passenger, also a Bella Vista resident, was injured when they were involved in a rear end collision on U.S. 71 near Trafalgar.
Arkansas State Police said Anita Riddell, 83, was killed and her passenger, Tyler Riddell, 60, injured when the ’15 Chrysler she was driving hit the rear of another southbound vehicle.
Policed reported no injury to people in the second vehicle which was a ’07 Ford Mustang.
The injured passenger was taken to Mercy Hospital in Bella Vista. The victim was pronounced dead by medical staff, police said. The accident occurred at 5:40 p.m. Sunday.

Pedestrian hit and killed on U.S. 70 West in Hot Springs, Ark., Saturday
Hot Springs, Ark. — A-60 year-old Hot Springs man was killed early Saturday night as he was walking in the eastbound outside traffic lane of U.S. 70 West.
Arkansas State Police said Ronnie D. Fletcher was killed Saturday as he was walking in the outside eastbound traffic lane at 2:11 a.m. They said he was killed by a ’04 Toyota travelling eastbound. They said the vehicle hit Fletcher in the outside eastbound traffic lane.
Fletcher was pronounced dead at the scene, and his body is being held at the Arkansas Crime Lab, police said.
